This year i want to hook up some riders that put in work. So i decied have a little sponsor me program. This is for taking for anybody that wants to be apart of it. So all you got to do is make a minute and a half edit of riding and doing what you do best, having fun, what have you. Then post it up to the wood shop face book, or bring a copy by of a cd. I will be choosing 3 bike riders to help out for the year. Videos need to be done by the end of febuary! 123 get going!
Austin B took this awesom photo of me. 3 roasters are my favorite. Besides that lets talk about the new years people. I got alot of plans and ideas for 2013 salt lake city bmxers. First off, the wood shop will be having a minute and a half video edit contest for a chance to win a spot on the wood shop bmx flow team. This will entitle 3 bike riders for a 15% off all items for a year. Thats right, 15% off for a year. More news to come on that, but start filming now, cause the deadline will ruffly be two to three months away. Remember, personality and stlyle goes a long way. Second i am working on trying to get some jams together this winter at classic skating indoors. I need ramps, so if you all have any let, me know so we can get them going sooner. Third, also working on having 4 or 5 jams at the local parks, and also a trail jam at tanner. I hope every one can make it out to this years halloween Jam. Normally we have it at the trails but i wanted to switch it up this year. Alot of you may or may not know this, but my uncle owns classic skating and on his property is a old school snake run made out of cement. So he was kind enough to let us build a bunch of other ramps to fill in the snake run. It will be a good time. 20.00$ entry fee, comes with a wood shop shirt and lunch. Tons of product to be giving out as well from company s like, S&M,FIT, Volume,Demolition, Subrosa,Shadow, Fbm, Profile Racing, Cassett sunglasses, Outsider, and who knows, Wood shop GIft cars. I know i been slacking on letting every one know whats going on with this jam. So i am giving you a couple sample nugs. Here is a sneak peak photo of one of the ramps we are building. A big wooden berm. Matt and greg have been hustling and helping me to make it happen. I planned on having the jam at the end of september but it is going to be pushed back to october 20th or the 27th. Its going to be a halloween jam. Sorry for the delay and making you all wait to find out if you were the winner. It was a hard choice to between the lake jumping photo, the trail life style photo, dads riding with there kids photo, cam wood look alike photo, train full of bikers photo was way rad by the way. Unfortunately, i only made one gear to give out, So i want to say your all winners but the lucky one to take home the grand prize was biker lindsay with this photo of here sitting under the bridge dodging the sun. My favorite part of bike riding is finding a spot that the man wont hassle ya. I love hanging out in spot where you can be shady and do what ever on your bike. In a modern day society its hard to find a place we can ride with out getting kicked out by the law. All we want to do is ride our bikes. So congrats lindsay, Your photo is queen for the month.
